Please note that this is NOT an on-line auction, however, you can make a commission bid on this site. Please ensure that your commission bid is your best and final offer.
June 1st is the deadline date for bids, all commission bidders will be notified no later than Wednesday 10 June, if their bid has been sucessful.
Conditions of Sale
(a) Description. Every lot is sold with all faults and errors of description and the SJP Tribute Fund disclaim all responsibility for authenticity, attribution, age, origin, provenance, date, condition, quality of estimated selling price. All statements on such matters, whether printed or made orally, are statements of opinion and not representations of fact. Buyers are deemed to have satisfied themselves on authenticity, condition etc. before bidding.
(b) Fall of Hammer. The highest bidder shall be the Buyer- if any dispute arises, the auctioneer has absolute discretion to settle the dispute or to re-offer the lot.
(c) Payment. At the fall of the hammer the Buyer shall pay the SJP Tribute Fund the total amount due in Cash, Cheque or by Bank Transfer, (by arrangement).
(d) Ownership. The ownership of the lot purchased shall not pass to the Buyer until he has made payment in full to the SJP Tribute Fund of the total amount due , but each lot is at the sole risk of the Buyer from the fall of the hammer.
(e) Removal of Purchases. No purchase shall be claimed or removed until the Buyers account has been paid in full. If the items have been paid for by cheque it most be noted that our bank asks for six working days for the cheque to be fully cleared even if it appears the money has left the purchasers account. All lots shall be paid for and removed at the Buyers risk and expense. Failing this the SJP Tribute Fund shall not be responsible if same are lost, stolen, damaged or destroyed and all lots not so removed shall remain at the risk of the Buyer.
